Mohaka River Full Day Raft-Fishing – Guided

Get one up on the locals – The Mohaka River is one of New Zealand’s most majestic and wild rivers and has superb trout fishing. It is not as well known as the Tongariro River but it certainly delivers and is worth a look. We start early to get you fishing, so to make the most of what will prove to be an epic day. Fly fishing by raft on this river includes dramatic backdrops as we float through many plentiful fishing pools. The Mohaka River is a superb option if coming from the Hawkesbay or Taupo. The river is very passive so can cater for all ages and abilities.
